Tata Power's EV Charging Network Surpasses 10 Crore Green Kilometers Milestone
Tata Power has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider to facilitate over 10 crore (100 million) green kilometers across various segments including public, semi-public, bus/fleet, and home chargers nationwide. This achievement aligns with the government's ambitious target of achieving one crore annual EV sales by 2030.
Under the banner of EZ Charge, Tata Power has expanded its network to encompass more than 86,000 home chargers, over 5,300 public, semi-public, and fleet charging points, as well as over 850 bus charging stations, spanning 530 cities and towns. These strategically located chargers are accessible at diverse locations such as highways, hotels, malls, hospitals, and residential complexes.
In response to the growing demand for EVs and charging infrastructure, Tata Power has introduced tech-enabled customer-centric solutions like RFID cards, enabling users to tap, charge, and go with wireless payments. This commitment to innovation and sustainability has earned Tata Power the prestigious 'Shoonya Infrastructure Champion' award for its dedication to zero-emission mobility. With India poised to achieve annual EV sales of one crore by 2030, Tata Power's robust EV charging network is poised to play a pivotal role in driving the nation towards a greener future.
